You have chosen the most important period of a child's life. Unfortunately, you won't be your students first teacher-that distinction belongs to the parents. It is unfortunate because you won't know what level they come to you.
EDUCATORS
Perhaps you came to early childhood education through the alternative certification route. While this is not a bad thing in itself, many are missing some key elements that 4 and 5-year-olds require. There are videos on this site designed to assist you or to be used as a refresher for certain aspects.
